Propagating Poplars with Rooterpots

Hybrid poplars are one of the best suited trees to be propagated with rooterpots because of their ability to root quickly, in fact, a cutting inserted in the ground will start showing roots in less than a week and ready to be transplanted in about 3 weeks.

You can start using the rooterpots early in the Spring, when the buds start opening all the way until late fall. The trees are still very active making roots at that time of the year.
