Hybrid poplar trees are deciduous trees that grow in zones 2 through 10 - This includes the entire continental United States. There are 32 clones to choose from! Hybrid poplar trees grow to 80+ feet and their branches extend as far as 30 feet in diameter.

Poplars grow up to 10 feet per year and they live 40+ years - You can cut them for firewood in 5 years - You can get a nice privacy screen or windbreak in only 2 years, they make pulp logs in 6-7 years, they make saw logs in 8-10 years, a market is steadily growing for this material... and they are inexpensive!

The information I give in this web site is based on my personal observations, experiments and failures over the last 23 years with these so called "super trees", and information I have gathered on the Internet from related web sites.

Bareroot trees are shipped from Washington State from January until the end of June only. Cuttings are shipped from December until the end of July. The farm grows 50+ acres of poplar trees and cuttings every year to be sold to the industry. Do you need trees or cuttings in large quantities? We have special prices for orders over $5000.
