For those serious minded people who really want to know which clone does best in his/her area. Grow all 30 clones for 2 years, and from there you will know the best clone for you.

We put together a few of these (it is very time consuming marking every cutting) and we expect to sell them all within a few weeks. First come first served.

If you order this special, as you plant them, be sure to clearly mark each cutting with a label. Since you cannot wrap a label on the cutting, a separate label has to be fashioned. I use miniblind slots and permanent marker to make labels that will not be blown by the wind (drive them in the ground) and will stay put on front of each tree. In a couple of months you will be able to wrap a label on the tree for better, more permanent identification.

The best way to plant these cuttings is in a trench where the soil has been loosen, and some polymer mixed with it to retain water. The soil PH must be below 8 or the trees will die. Plant the cuttings about 1 ft. apart, and drive them in the ground until you can barely see them. Be sure the buds are facing UP. Keep them watered until the little trees are established, a couple of months, if it does not rain, water them, if in a drought, water them twice a day if possible.
